PG 13 is a duo born out of love for movies and sports. We both were born in the early 90s and raised in the 2000s when the biggest problem was scoring the game winner and go home to a late night pizza and a blockbuster guaranteed banger. As failed skateboarders we had our fair share of bruises and casts not without absorbing the raw language of Spike Jonze’s skate vids. Influenced by the power of punk rock and pop tarts we went ahead and killed our dream of becoming musicians and hockey players to pursue the dream of becoming filmmakers. Inspired by the visual vocabulary of “Malcom in the middle” and the golden age of MTV’s culture we went to study filmmaking and guerrilla filmmaking getting our hands dirty and doing the legwork to eventually getting to break some rules and film sick shots.
