It all started when I convinced my classmates to become musicians just so I could film my first music video with my mom’s vacation camera.
That was reason enough for me to move to a 13 million-person megapolis with the dream of shooting videos for top-tier stars.
The craziest part? It actually worked out. I met my first big artist right in my kitchen because my random roommate happened to be a producer who worked with famous artists.
I introduced myself as an industry professional (fake it till you make it, right?) and offered to shoot a free music video.
They said yes, it ended up on MTV, and that’s when it hit me: I guess I'm a director now!
